Where it started

My love for editorial style photography came out of no where. When I opened my business in 2019, my goal was to focus on travel & landscape photography. Then I started working with a group of women who each individually excelled at modeling, you'd never guess it wasn't a full time career for them. They were equally devoted in efforts and watching each creative shoot come together from concept to final edit was incredible. In small town USA, we don't have access to props, locations, equipment, or a wardrobe team. Part of the fun in these creative shoots was being able to find the art and design at each location, even an unseemly place, such as the old jailhouse. I try to continue editorial styled shoots, although it's become more difficult now that I have a daughter. I happily devote all my time to her, and am soaking up this period of our lives as much as I can. Sometimes creative shoot opportunities still arise, and I grab onto them when I can. And when the time, I look forward to resuming my creative journey.
